IS 'ENGLISH SPEAKING WALES' BEING SHORT CHANGED AS A TV LICENCE PAYER - AS EXAMPLE THE BBC DRAMA VILLAGE IN TIGER BAY.

This week I was listening to BBC Radio Wales prattling on about Dr Who at  50 when in passing they mentioned a long list of BBC  stuff being produced at this DV, a load of it from Casualty, Holby City, Up Stairs and Down Stairs, to Merlin and Atlantis etc, etc plus Pobl y Cwm. Now what's not quite right here? of course all that English Language stuff is for the 'Home' British TV Service and International Sales, none of which as any Welsh Theme about it unless you count Merlin at a stretch then what we do have is 'Cymraeg' Pobl y Cwm so it's alright then that English Speaking Wales TV Licence payers get short changed and there are no Welsh Themes English Language Productions. Why no Alexander Cordell or Irish Gower Dramas, myself I would like to see an Angel Mountain series:

Worse there are no complaints nor campaign to change this situation, of course those who need to be in front line are 'English Speaking' Writers, Dramatists and Actors but not a whisper more than likely scared to death that if they make any criticism it might be seen as being Anti - Cymraeg'. Same goes for so called Welsh Nationalists who are equally terrified to cross Cultural Nationalism for same reason, shows how stupid they are as this sort of policy undermines totally the 'National Identity' of English Speaking Welsh. Whilst on this subject why no ES version of Jonathan and why no ES Community Discussion programmes of which there have been a number 'yn Cymraeg'. Do you get my drift, well you better grasp it fast as this situation is not helping any National Cause of Independence. Think on it!

Gethin.
